The winners of the Mini Artworks Show & Competition “Art the size of a Dollar Bill” at the Johnson Center for the Arts have been chosen and the winners have been announced.
The âDollar Bill Size Artâ is sponsored by Troy Bank & Trust Company and the Johnson Center for the Arts and directed by Pam Smith, a retired high school artist and art teacher Charles Henderson.
Smith said Kindergarten to Grade 12 students in county schools were invited to participate and the artwork was exceptional across the board.
âThere were over 400 entries for the student art competition this year and the judges had some tough decisions to make about naming the winners,â said Smith. âWe congratulate the winners and all the students who participated. We also thank the teachers who encouraged the students to participate and a special thank you to Troy Bank and Trust for sponsoring the competition and to the Johnson Center for hosting the exhibit.
