Two major acquisitions, a digital press installation and more

The Fedrigoni group, supplier of special high value-added papers for packaging, publishing and graphics, as well as premium labels and stickers, announces the acquisition of Divipa, a Spanish company headquartered in Derio, a few kilometers from Bilbao, which develops, manufactures and distributes self-adhesive materials, with an estimated turnover of 24 million euros in 2021 and around 50 employees.

“With the acquisition of Divipa, which joins the two self-adhesive production units we already have in Spain, we continue our expansion in the increasingly promising sector of self-adhesive materials”, comments Fulvio Capussotti, executive vice-president of Fedrigoni Self-Adhesives Division “This operation will enable us to increase production capacity and create numerous production and supply synergies.”

Meanwhile, Minneapolis-based AWT Labels & Packaging (AWT), a provider of specialty labels and packaging for the health, food and beverage, personal care and industrial end markets sustainability, announced the acquisition of Labeltronix.

Labeltronix represents the second acquisition by AWT in recent months, following the January acquisition of MacArthur Corporation, a maker of custom-designed industrial and durable label solutions headquartered in Grand Blanc, MI, with operations in Michigan, Poland and China.
